Lots has happened but actual progress has been slow!
Finally now i can say that the indemnity insurance has been procured
and this is now with the buyers solicitor to pass to the lender for
approval.
It's going to cost me about £500, but if it saves the deal then it is
definitely worth every last penny!
Oh, and i have changed solicitors! In my previous post i commented how
using an online company has certain benefits if one is prepared to do
lots of chasing and ground work. It seems that it was too much for me
and when i felt pushed into a corner and was being held to ransom
about the fees, not for additional work but for a mistake with the
original quote, i am afraid that i lost my confidence, maybe my nerve
and certainly my temper!
In the time since my last post i have also been ill with some kind of
flu virus, really high temperature and chesty cough!
I got to see my cousin last weekend, which was great and it kind of
hit home the effect on other people that our move has. He wanted to
see the kids as it would be the last chance for a very long time, he
said!
Packing is going slowly. I don't know if it is stress or the illness i
had recently, but i just don't have the energy in the evenings to do
anything- not even to write a post! I actually had a day off to pack
and tidy when the virus wiped me out!
The Korean shipping guys ard coming on Monday so i have to be ready by then!
The waiting is almost unbearable... I think i am almost too nervous
about the whole thing crashing and falling through that I can't get
exited about it- it doesn't seem real! Got to pull myself together!!!
Got all the documents sent off which was a great feeling until they
emailed to say i need a TEFL qualification! How annoying when i went
to the effort of doing the CELTA, this seems to be a mistake!
